A long, slow summer is finally coming to an end. It seems we are all hard-boiled and moving slower than before. Much has happened, but hardly any of it seemed spectacular, although it is not much different from last year’s adventures, this year for some reason we are a bit falling apart, it seems anyways, maybe starting with Laila moving with Alexander into her own place. Kids give a sense of group-feeling to a place, everyone gets a part of it, even those who claim they don’t want anything to do with it.
Molly being there but not there for most of the time, either rehearsing “Was wollen Sie von mir?” or sleeping with Elle and leaving Starfish without much explanation (not that the situation needs much explanation, but those left behind always push for one anyways), wandering aimlessly around or hiding in his own or his friends’ room, til he get’s kicked out, doesn’t lift the mood; Larry seems the most tolerant with him, but he is no replacement for Molly and at some point Larry’s faible for drama is in reverse going on Starfish’s nerve.
End of July ShinySkySituation went on tour, the Grasshopper Road Tour, being summer vacation Molly was meant to come along but on the morning of leaving she broke her elbow, which delayed the departure, put Starfish in a deep black mood and didn’t help after all, Molly had to stay at home, cast and all, and the secretly hoped for chance for reunion for Starfish went downhill.
However, they came back with shiny eyes after all, so in a way it did some good to the situation.
I am editing film clips and grouping photographs together, exhausted from the project and in need of my own vacation, but there is no time for anything like that, to much work, still.
