The Hotel has been a mess since over a week now, because they are filing some sort of Japanese avant-garde movie, some bizarre love story involving time travelling and a turtle, don’t ask me, please! – and it has to be here, where we live or used to one should say, until these guys popped up. I am not sure if Vincent gets any money out of this, maybe, anyways he seems as pissed off about it as everyone else. Everywhere are piles of camera stuff, film people running around and papers with scripts, or God knows what it is. Constant back and forth and phone calls in any space all the time where we live and go about our business as good as we can, but we are invisible to these people and they seem under time pressure, so they are on top of it annoyed because things don’t go as planned.
“Annoying” is putting it mildly.
Josiane Keller “Notice Of Filming” (2017)
Posters and stickers and flyers announcing the very important artistic project going on in our living quarters everywhere, and I am bit wondering if they are not in the way when they shoot in the hallways.
And the actors, oh my. Plastic people, once again, and plenty of them. Would they every greet anyone here? No, we are the B-Class. And the food these people get, you haven’t seen the likes! Tables and tables of delicacies, sushi trays, salads, fruits, what not. At the end of the day only a minute part of it is being eaten and the rest goes to the cockroaches in the back alley. Luckily we get to snatch some left-overs, if that is the idea or it juts worked out that way because we don’t waste time asking if we may please, who knows, but we are at least eating very well by dinnertime in the hotel these days.
Laila took Alexander and moved in a separate apartment that Vincent has somewhere down the road, she says it is not a suitable environment for a toddler, She is right, just, was it ever? Anyways.
Allegedly today is the LAST day of filming. I can’t wait when things go back to normal around here!
