Alexander was allowed home from the hospital and everyone is majorly relieved. Apparently somehow he had come in touch with rat poison, maybe playing outside stuck something in his mouth when we were not looking or God knows. Who the hell would put rat poison outside is anyways a big question, but luckily so far he is fine again and the doctors told Laila just keep an eye on his condition and come back should anything get worse again.

Whilst Laila and Alexander came home Larry, Molly, Chiaki, Starfish and Viola were out again for that poster shoot by some waterfalls, this time of the animals only Goebbels came along, and apparently this time the photo shoot worked out and they could all say good-bye to the kimonos, Starfish being the happiest about that.
Further, each one got paid on the spot, and thanks to Molly’s negotiating talent the fee for Starfish was substantial and included payment for the other shots too, we were worried about. So Starfish announced he now has enough money to pursue the final major step for his sex change, which is another reason for everyone to celebrate.

Larry took him out for a drink man-to-man that night, but sadly that went wrong because they were hitting on a woman in the pub showing off with the band ShinySkyStituation, and her husband was not into it, in particular he seemed to have an issue with Larry, who had pulled his favourite stunt, claiming to be a Flamenco guitarist from Granada, Spain, which is total bullshit, even if he has about any ethnicity in the world combined in his veins, next to other substances he occasionally adds to these. He is really from Granada, Colorado, a tiny nest, and the only noticeable asset of it is the Japanese internment camp that once was there, where his dad was born. As a result of a misunderstanding Larry once found out the other version is way more effective, so he uses that at times, some of which are ill chosen.
And so it ended up with Starfish making a runner back home and Larry arriving 45 minutes later with a bleeding nose. He had a massive panic because the guy had been coming after him and Larry was not sure if he had managed to sneak into Cooks Lane unseen, so he thought the guy might now know where he lives and mumbled something from a getting restraining order.

Chiaki simply gave him a tissue for his nose and told him to skip being such a jerk in the future and he would not have such issues. I am not sure if Larry is capable of giving up being a jerk in the future, in particular when he thinks he has an audience, I doubt it, but he also has a very compassionate side to himself, so let’s just say, it’s typically Larry and we all are sure he’ll be fine (until next time….)
