Last night suddenly there was a commotion in the hotel. I was in the lobby, when ChoCho and some others came in from the street, laughing and seemingly excited. Starfish ran up to me and told me to get my camera, I should go outside, Chiaki was there wanting to show me something.

And so I went. What can I tell you? If you have followed the recent posts this will not surprise you any more in the slightest, of course there was Chiaki, this time not exactly playing with a tiny kitten, in fact, thank God Muschi was somewhere inside. Instead, God knows where she got that from now, she had a huge living snake wrapped around her shoulders. Maybe a python or a boa, I have no clue how to distinguish the two, I think one gives birth to live young ones, the other lays eggs, but that’s about it… ; Richard Avedon once took a shot in 1981 for Vogue magazine of actress Nastassja Kinski with a boa constrictor.
Whatever kind of snake Chiaki found some-where, she certainly is living it up, there isn’t a boring minute with that girl. Chiaki seemed to be having the greatest time, I kept a safe distance, shooting away nevertheless. I have stopped by now preaching what and what not would be safe and smart to do for her, I only make sure I always have a camera ready when Chiaki is anywhere nearby.
