I received a present! It’s a DVD of a puppet play 平太郎化物日記 “Heitaro Bakemono Nikki” , translating to “Heitaro’s monster diary” from Ayako Bando (Compagnie JIJO), the story in brief: the hero Heitaro is not afraid of monsters /ghosts (Japanese ghosts can take on unlimited shapes and abilities, you got to see it to believe it, Mid August, during the days of the dead, is a great time to explore); the ghost are doing their best to teach him respect; Koichi Iimuro /Atelier Minomushi collaborated in this marionette play with project ITO.

The puppet show scenario and production is by Tengai Amano, [天野天街]

For ITO project/ Heitaro bakemono nikki Tengai Amano 天野天街 made all non-human puppets and wrote the play.
Koichi made the human puppets in the puppet show: the hero Heitaro, another man, an old man and more.

Here the full poster to the production, which is wild in itself:

The puppets in this play are wild, to say the least, again: you have to see it to believe it…..
Meanwhile my own project is growing, I am working on Alexander’s mom, Laila.
Here is Laila’s head and left hand:

And here you see a larger test print of one of Vincent’s portrait shots (but the final prints should be even larger scale):
